Ha, me neither. If you are sticking around town for your kids' spring break (or if you don't have kids but feel like treating yourself to a little spring break), I devised a little itinerary with so much fun that you won't even notice there's no umbrella in your drink.
Please make sure you check that these places are open on the day you choose. Some of them would be new to me as well, so please leave your comments if you've ever visited any of them...

Monday: Olde Towne East
- Franklin Park Conservatory for Blooms and Butterflies (opening day is 3/12)
- Lunch at The Angry Baker (you must try the cookies!) or Yellow Brick Pizza
- Play time at the playground on South 18th or the Topiary Garden


Tuesday: Malabar Farms or Mohican
(Loudonville area) Thank you Christa for the photo of a place we haven't been before- Malabar Farms (and spring is the time for new baby animals!)
- Eat at the Malabar restaurant or one of these other fun places right off I-71
- Mohican State Park for beautiful hiking and picnicking
Wednesday: German Village

- Lunch at Katzinger's or Brown Bag deli
- Treats at Pistacia Vera
- Play time at Schiller Park


Thursday: Yellow Springs
- Check out our trip here
- Coffee and baked goods at Dino's or breakfast at Underdog Cafe
- Lunch at Peaches Grill or picnic items from Tom's Market
- Explore and play at Glen Helen Nature Preserve
- Stop at Young's Dairy Farm on the way home for ice cream, cows, and tractor fun


Friday: Canal Winchester
(thanks Columbus Culinary Connection for sharing the best of your hometown!)- Breakfast at Harvest Moon Cafe
- Slate Run Farm (check the schedule for programming or take your own self-guided tour)
- Canal Winchester Train Station
Other great day trips could include the Aha! Museum in Lancaster, The Works museum in Newark, and the brand new Irish Fairy Door Trail in historic Dublin.
