12 weeks. 3 months. A quarter of a year! OK, I won't get carried away and get weepy on you. This week, Larkyn has been showing us her new "party trick". She stuffs her entire fist in her mouth quite often these days...and is drooling so much that I keep a bib on her all the time. I have been told that these are signs of teething, but I am pretending like I didn't hear that. Hear what?
When I was buying clothes for her before she was born (that's right), my cutest purchases were the 3-6 month clothes because I knew it would be super hot out (and Gymboree always sells out of their 0-3 stuff!) I was excited to try some of these outfits this week, even though they are a little big on her. Can't wait to show them to you throughout the summer!
We will be celebrating week 13 AT THE BEACH! That's right, I am flying with my infant by myself on Monday. It's OK, Desiree tried it out for us, and Auntie Alyson had lots of good tips as well. Matt couldn't get the week off because another driver is taking the week off for the arrival of his new baby (the nerve of people...;o) Anyway, this trip is an annual tradition I have been taking since I was itty bitty (but I missed the last 2 years due to "major life changes") and I can't wait for Lulu to party with her family on BHI! Things have certainly changed since the fam bought land there and the place was run by generators and we were the only house see for miles. Even so, I am not sure if I will have internet access (so I might get to try out the word "blogcation"). Stay tuned.
